Dean Daffron Pierce, 84, of Rossville, Ga. died Tuesday in a local nursing home.
She was a native of Haleyville, AL, and had resided in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area since 1938. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a former employee of Rivoli Mills.
She is survived by her former husband, Lawrence Daffron of Fort Oglethorpe; son in law and daughter, Billy and Donna Daffron of Crestview, FL. and Terry and Daphna Daffron of Chattanooga; sister, Vera Freeman of West Palm Beach, FL.; step-sons Larry, Tom and Jack Pierce of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Pickard officiating.
Rick Daffron, Joshua Pierce and AnDrue Potts will serve as pallbearers.
Interment will follow in TN-Ga Memorial Park, Rossville, Ga.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
