Edward L. “Bud” Roberson, 69, of Red Bank, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at his home.

A native of Chattanooga, he attended The University of Chattanooga and was employed by Shaw Carpets. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Marines, receiving the Purple Heart, Korean Defense, UN Service and Good Conduct Medals. He was a member of the Privateer Yacht Club.

Survivors are his wife, Alta Roberson; two sons, Edward Lee Roberson, III and Robert Kevin Roberson; step-son, Russell Davis; sister, Annie Carolyn Abercombie; brother, Algie Roe Roberson, Jr.; step-grandchilden, Sean Davis and Autumn Cathey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel with The Rev. and Honorable Sam Payne and Rev. A.G. Hutchison officiating.

Arrangements are by Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
