Robert Lee Medlin, 72, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, in a local health care facility.
He had lived in Knoxville for many years before moving to Collegedale in 2003. He was retired from the Marble Shop in Knoxville.
Mr. Medlin was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Medlin; sisters, Hazel Kirk, Lucille Smith, Betty Kincer and Martha Skeen; and brothers, Mack Medlin and Floyd Medlin.
He is survived by four children, Robin Blevins, of Harrison, Julie Roberson, of Ooltewah, and Sheilah Burns and Robert Medlin, both of Collegedale; four grandchildren, Alicia Blevins, Jeremy and Rachel Medlin and Brandy Medlin; three sisters, Barbara Lorenz, of Atlanta, and Joann Rose and Blanche Webber, both of Knoxville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Valley View Chapel.
Burial will be at Collegedale Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until funeral time Sunday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
