Aninos, Elias J.

Elias J. Aninos, 78, of Ringgold, formerly of Michigan, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at his residence.

He was a former Detroit Police Officer for 17 years and was most recently a finish carpenter for many years. Mr. Aninos was a member of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Aninos, and sister, Josephine Cantrell.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Aninos; son, Paul A. (Sally) Aninos, Plymouth, MI; daughter, Karen (William) Bidwell, Livonia, MI; step-daughter, Debra (Paul) Foster, Chattanooga; brother, Nicholas Aninos, Florida; sister, Catherine (Joseph) Rossi, Venice, FL; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, at his residence with Father Michael Redden officiating.
