Students receive basic training in the principles and skills of commercial truck operations. The program also includes proper load and vehicle documentation, as well as safe operation and a review of all federal, state and local laws.
Applicants may call the Kimball site, located at 426 Battle Creek Road, at 423-837-1327, or the Commercial Truck Driving program director at 423-875-8448.
Current students who attend Chattanooga State Kimball, or potential students desiring more information about enrollment or testing requirements, will want to meet with Doug Byrd on Oct. 23 between 9-12 p.m. Mr. Byrd also provides interpretations of the Myers Briggs Career Inventory or the Strong Campbell tests, if taken ahead of time.
