Myrtle McDaniel McGill, 87, died on Friday, Oct. 6, 2006.
She was born in Trion, Ga., to the late John and Della Wright White. She was a housewife and a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Sonshine Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.W. McGill and Walter J. McDaniel; son, Billy McDaniel.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane Osburn; son, Leroy McDaniel, both of Chickamauga; stepsons, Ricky McGill, of Chickamauga, Terry McGill, of Kensington, Ga., and Jerry McGill, of LaFayette, Ga.; sister-in-law, Pauline Teems, of LaFayette; eight grandchildren, including Lynn Parker, special caregiver and granddaughter; 17 greatgrandchildren; and five great-greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, in the funeral home chapel with Minister Darrell Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after noon Sunday, at the funeral home.
