Tim Maynor, 45, of Rossville, died on Thursday, November 16, 2006, after a long battle with cancer.
He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. Tim was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan who loved to ride motorcycles and was a “Parrot Head."
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Faye Waters and Hurbert and Emma Maynor.
Survivors include his loving wife of more than 24 years, Phyllis Mullins Maynor of Rossville, Ga.; his father and step-mother, M.L. and Judy Maynor; his mother and step-father, Diane & Dana Rich, all of Ringgold, Ga.; three sons, Brandon and Ben Maynor, both of Rossville, Ga., and Rodney Lang of Chattanooga, Tn.; daughter and son-in-law, April and John Clark of Rossville, Ga.; three sisters, Gwen Maynor of Flintstone, Ga., Melanie Maynor of East Ridge, Tn. and Emily Maynor of Ringgold, Ga.; step-sister and her husband, Stephanie and Neal Harvey of Ringgold, Ga.; granddaughter, Britney Clark; two longtime friends, Charlie Hood and Scotty Lewis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother Jeff Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will begin receiving friends after 4 p.m. on Friday, all day Saturday, and prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
