Addie Loyce Whaley, 72, of Chattanooga, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, at her residence.
She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She was retired from Cutter’s Lab. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, JoAnn (Eddie) Whitlock and Deborah (Woodie) Sardin; five grandchildren, Eddie Jr. and Christopher Whitlock, Krystle, Woodie Jr. and William Sardin; one sister, Mildred Bradford, of Cleveland, TN; four brothers, Booker T., Chancel, Howard and Harold Woods, all of Georgetown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, at Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay P. Trimble officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Prospect Baptist Church, located at 734 Dodson Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Avondale Chapel of Franklin-Strickland Funeral Directors.
