Theodore Rhea Hicks, 61, of Chattanooga, formerly of Madisonville, died on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at his residence.
He was the son of the late James O. and Clara Hicks and was employed by Roadway Inc. for the past 22 years.
He is survived by his daughters and sonin-law, Kelly and Alan Hill, Jennifer Hicks; granddaughter, Lillian Grace Hicks, all of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. James O. Jr. and Eva Hicks, of Blacksburg, VA, Ralph D. and Arlene Hicks, of Dothan, AL; nieces, Kathy Howell, of Englewood, and Sarah Howell, of Miami, FL; and nephews, Dr. Kevin O. Hicks, of Lynchburg, VA, Greg and Jeff Hicks, both of Birmingham, AL.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Howell; and nephew, Brian Howell.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Biereley-Hale Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Hicks officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
