William David Puckett, 52, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, May 14, 2006 after a short battle with cancer.
He had lived in Chattanooga for 32 years coming here from Banner Elk, NC. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and worked at UPS for 32 years. David was a very kind and loving husband, father and son and a man of deep faith in the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Pam Puckett; daughters, Katie Puckett, Chattanooga, JoLeigh Puckett, Birmingham, AL; parents, William and Shirley Puckett; brothers, Stephen (Debbie) Puckett, Thomas Puckett, all of Banner Elk, NC; sisters, Linda (Rob) Hertler, Miami, FL, Betty (Forrest) Ritchey, Winston-Salem, NC, Martha (Skip) Hartley, Roan Mountain, TN, Theresa Puckett, Marion, NC; sisters-in-law, Denise (Michael) Diana, Wappingers Falls, NY, Debbie Groves, Reva Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Steve Euler officiating.
The body will be conveyed to Banner Elk, NC for funeral services and interment on Thursday.
The family will receive friends from 5–7 p.m. on Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
