Fred Van Arsdale, III, 62, of Chattanooga, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 of pancreatic cancer.
He was a 1966 graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH. Mr. Van Arsdale was a sales professional in the truck equipment industry for over 40 years. His responsibilities required him to travel throughout the world.
Most recently, he was employed by McNeilus Corporation, a division of Oshkosh Truck Corporation, as an National Accounts Manager. He was an avid golfer at Chattanooga Golf and Country Club where he was a member.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Van Arsdale; son, Keith Thomas Van
Arsdale and his wife, Janice of Houston, TX; granddaughter, Natalie Van Arsdale; sister, Linda Suber and her son, Dennis Suber of Perrysburg,
OH; sister-in-law, Joanne Auth of Gainesville, FL; mother-in-law, Betty
Buhl, Gainesville, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Red Bank United
Methodist Church.
