Elbert Robert “Bobby” Bass, 52, of Signal Mountain, died at his home Wednesday, October 10, 2007.
Mr. Bass was preceded in death by his father, Arvin Dale Bass, mother, Ruby Tate Bass Sanders, nephew, Nathaniel Bass.
Mr. Bass was employed by Jamie Hawkins of Hawkins Construction and was a master mechanic, stone mason and equipment operator. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
He is survived by his brothers, Arvin LaWayne Bass, Ringgold, Ga., Tim Bass, Hixson; two sisters, Ola B. Hudson and Delietha L. Bass, Signal Mtn.; niece, Amy L. Hudson, Signal Mtn.; four nephews, Jeffery L. Bass, Signal Mtn., Daniel Wilson, Hixson, Matthew Pickett, Chattanooga, John Pickett, Dallas, Tx.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. CDT on Saturday in Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jim Chandler officiating. Burial in will be in Thans Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. on Friday.
