Lora Agnes McKee, 98, of Collegedale, formerly of Monteagle, Tn., died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at the home of her son.

Mrs. McKee was a member of Collegedale and Monteagle Seventhday Adventist churches. She served as treasurer for the Monteagle Church for 15 years and also served as secretary for the Carolina Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. She worked for McKee Bakery in the Thrift Shop and retired as secretary from Sales Biltmore Bleachery. She was the wife of the late Finis L. McKee.

She is survived by her son, Richard L. (Linda) McKee, of Fort Oglethorpe; two daughters, Janet Ruth (Bill) Wood, of Lancaster, Ma., and Lora Sharon (Gene) Brooks, of Monteagle; five grandchildren, Richard Paul McKee, Susan Elizabeth Fish, Todd Steven McKee, Scott Wood and Jeff Wood; three great-grandchildren, Conner Wood, Riley Wood and Atlanta McKee; and two sisters, Virginia Boone, of Asheville, N.C., and Frances Hutchins, of Melbourne, Fl.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Elder Clyde Leeds officiating. Interment will be in Collegedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
