Maurices, a leading national specialty store for fashion "for savvy, fashion-conscious customers," will open a new store in Hixson in the Oak Park Town Center (next to Wal-Mart) on July 28.
“We’re very excited to open in Hixson and look forward to bringing customers a new option for young women’s clothing as well as an exciting new shopping experience,” said John Schroeder, vice president of stores.
He added, “We look for the best opportunity in each market. The development in the area we are moving into looked like the perfect opportunity to continue to reach maurices target customer and continued success of our business.”
Lisa Sitton Hayes will be store manager. She worked for Proffits/Belks for the past seven years. She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales performance, visual presentation, and personnel recruitment and training.
The store will feature a wide assortment of clothing in a 5,600 square foot store - styles that work from every day casual to special occasions.
It offers women an expanded range of sizes from 1-24 in most styles and carries exclusive brands of Studio Y and maurices.
