Neriah Lankford Duncan, 94, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2007, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Jack and Nola Lankford and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude H. Duncan, three sisters, Sallie McIntosh, Lillian Jones, Billie Joyce Kovacevich and two brothers, Harry and Maston.
She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, Harrison Chapter.
She is survived by her two sons, Jack (Shirley) Duncan, Lamar Duncan; sister, Lou Miller; brother, Robert Lankford; grandsons, Jeff Duncan, Jimmy Duncan, Kenny Duncan; granddaughters, Cindy Young, Terri Ricketts; great-granddaughters, Amber Ricketts, Misti Swanson, Kayley Young, Elizabeth Duncan, Christina Duncan, Stephanie Duncan, Allison Duncan; great-grandsons, Kyle Young, William Duncan; great-great-grandsons, Hunter Ricketts, Jacob Swanson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
