Artie Watson McKelvy, 83, Chattanooga, died on Monday, March 17, 2008 at a local hospital.

She was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church and was retired from First Tennessee Bank.

Mrs. McKelvy was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Carl S. McKelvy; parents, William and Rose McCullough Watson, grandson, Keith Pinckard; five sisters; two brothers.

She is survived by her son, Ron (Jane) McKelvy, Ringgold; daughters, Debbie (Dee) Pinckard, Knoxville, Barbara (Ron) Gordon, Kensington; brothers, Cecil Watson, Florence, Al., Wesley Watson, Tuscumbia, Al; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Brainerd United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4315 Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37411, or the Alzheimer’s Association, 735 Broad Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37401.
