Associates In General Surgery, LLC has opened a new office in Lafayette.
Dr. Daniel Heithold, MD FACS and Dr. James A. Lovette will be seeing patients on Wednesday and Thursday sharing office space with Chattanooga Women’s Specialists.
Dr. Heithold will see patients at the Lafayette location, 613 Villanow Drive, Building 2, from 9-11:30 a.m. every other Wednesday and Dr. Lovette will see patients every other Thursday from 9-11:30 a.m. Patients or physicians wishing to schedule an appointment at that location should call 706 858-9331.
The announcement was made by Dr. Daniel L. Heithold. He said, “We are very excited to extend our services further into the North Georgia community by allowing residents the opportunity to see a specialist much closer to home. We look forward to joining the Lafayette community and providing a surgical option for patients in that region.”
Dr. Heithold practices general surgery in North Georgia and Tennessee. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He attended Medical School at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga.
Dr. Heithold is a native of North Georgia and currently resides with his wife Carol and two children in North Georgia. He enjoys fishing, camping, and raising horses.
Dr. Lovette practices general surgery in North Georgia. He obtained his undergraduate degree from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill before receiving his Doctorate of Medicine degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine/Wake Forest University. Dr. Lovette completed his residency in general surgery at Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Lovette is a native of North Carolina and currently resides in North Georgia with his wife Tammy. He enjoys music, travel, hunting, fishing and motorcycling.
Both Dr. Heithold and Dr. Lovette are Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and are currently accepting new patients.
