Virginia Hall Scott, 79, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 with her husband, Osbern B. Scott by her side.
Virginia was a faithful member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Osbern B. Scott; daughter, Alecia (Mike) Lyons Corpus Christi, Tx.; son, Monty (Paula) Scott, Knoxville; seven grandchildren, Jonathon, David and Rebecca Lyons, Corpus Christi, Zachary, Christopher, Olivia and Jackson Scott, Knoxville; four sisters, Elvie Gant, Pisgah, Al.; Shirley Ellis, Bryant, Al., Maxine Upton, Huntsville, Al., Mary Hewitt, Lafayette, Ga.; three brothers, Leland Hall, Chattanooga; Aubert Hall, Huntsville, Al., Loyd Hall, Colorado Springs, Co.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Jones and Rev. Bill Harvey officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
