CCS, GPS, Boyd-Buchanan Post Soccer Wins

CCS traveled to Grace on Tuesday and earned a 5-0 shutout.

CCS led 3-0 at the half. Anna Hoffman had two goals for CCS. Jennifer Fortmiller, Tiffany Sullivan and Allie Sullivan each had a goal. Fortmiller and Natalie Thedford each had an assist.

Ellen Stone and Taylor Thurman combined for the shutout

CCS will host Signal Mountain on Thursday at 7 p.m.

GPS hosted region foe Harpeth Hall and won 4-1 after leading 1-0 at the half.

Sarah Mastey and Samira Rahbe each had two goals. Mastey and Kelsey Keef each had an assist.

Grace Stumb had Harpeth Hall's lone goal.

GPS out shot Harpeth 15-6. Simone Busby had two saves for GPS.

GPS Record: 5-2 (1-1)

GPS will host Ensworth on Saturday at 1:00.

Boyd-Buchanan's Katherine Johnson scored the game winner in the second half as the Lady Bucs defeated McMinn Central 1-0. The goal was assisted by Morgan Shull.

Anna Beasley had 5 saves for Boyd-Buchanan who improves their overall record to 4-4 and 3-0 in the district.
