Elaine Lausch Barker, of Lookout Mountain, Ga., died on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
She was a 1995 graduate of Covenant College and a 1997 graduate of Georgia State University and Psychological Studies Institute.
Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Presley Barker and sister-in-law, Ruby Lausch.
Survivors are her mother, Esther Crouse; four stepchildren, Sarah (Geoff) Gold, Nancy (Dale) Hokrein, Jennifer (Jeremey) Hodges, Ned (Heidi) Barker; and nine of the best grandchildren a body could ask for, Andrew, Graham, Caitlin, Olivia, Max, Emily, Katie, Ryan and Evan; sisters, Kathy (Tom) Weidman, Marilyn Shafer, Dorcas (P.K.) Goel; brothers, Dale Lausch and Dean (Sandy) Lausch.
A memorial service will be held at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 28, in the sanctuary.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday in the Fellowship Hall prior to the memorial service.
