I am writing in support of Gary Behler for Juvenile Court Clerk. After twenty-seven years of counseling in the Chattanooga area, I realize the importance of this position. After working with many hurting families, it is crucially important to have someone who displays the character as well as integrity to take an active role in the welfare of youth and families.
As the former director of the Lighthouse Counseling Center and founder of AILS (Abuse Intervention with Life Skills, both for adolescents and adults-serving the Hamilton County Courts), I realize the importance of having a committed and educated person in family life care.
Gary Behler is that man. I have worked with Gary at First Things First and have personally witnessed the passion and commitment he has demonstrated toward the improvement of family life in Chattanooga. As operations director he is a highly effective manager. He is very organized, pays close attention to details, and is a good steward of all resources. These qualities are critical in carrying out the duties of the Clerk.
Please consider the seriousness of every position and then consider Gary as Juvenile Court Clerk.
