Maxine Elizabeth Fink, 75, of Hixson, died on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, in a local health care facility.

Maxine was a longtime nurse at several health care facilities in Chattanooga and a longtime member of White Oak United Methodist Church. Maxine was a very caring woman, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne Elizabeth Fink (Don) Smith of Germany; son, Tony (Jennifer) Fink of McDonough, Ga.; grandchildren, Justin Nathanel Smith of Hixson, Hunter Taft (Rachael) Smith of Washington, and Grant Reece Fink of McDonough, Ga.; brother, Marshall Hayes (Kathy) Hatley of Houston, Tx.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 11, at White Oak United Methodist Church with Reverend Amy Whatley officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial contributions may be made to White Oak United Methodist Church, 2233 Lyndon Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37415 or one’s favorite charity.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
