Lena Mae Adams Mosley, of Summerville, Ga., died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She was a beautician and had retired from Berry College.
She is survived by her children, Ms. Maxine West of Summerville, Retired Command Sgt. Major Walter (Susan) Mosley of Fircrest, Wa., Dr. Patricia M. Harris of Savannah, Ga. and Minister Melvin (Betty) Mosley of Summerville; step-daughter, Ms. Yulanda Davis of Dallas, Ga.; nine grandchildren, Kenneth West of Birmingham, Ala., Lequisha Harris of Summerville, Brian West of Irvine, Cal., Keith Mosley Los Angeles, Eric (Maydia) Mosley of Cartersville, Ga., Jori Mosley of Calhoun, Rashun Harris of Raleigh, N.C., Bethany Mosley of Calhoun and Jaware Robbins of Raleigh, N.C.; nine great-grandchildren, Bobbie, Justice, LaShunna, Hailey Lena, Taylor, Brooke, Josiah, Ericson and Honnah; two sisters, Mrs. Aileen Mosley and Mrs. Louise Favors of Summerville; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Vernell Shropshire of LaFayette and Mrs. Susie Parker of St. Augustine, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Service will be Saturday, March 26, at 3 p.m. at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Summerville with Pastor George Beavers and other ministers officiating.
Her remains will lie in state at the church on Saturday, March 26 from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Church Cemetery.
