Amy Elizabeth Wright, 27, of Apison, died on Friday, April 29, 2011 in a local hospital. She was born July 7, 1983 in Chattanooga.

Amy was a member of Grace Baptist. She received her Associate's degree from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pa.

Survivors include her parents, Paul and Kathy Wright, and brother, Bradley Wright, all of Apison; uncle, Mark Goodwin of Little Rock, Ar.; aunt, Diane (John) McCoy of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Euler, Dr. Bill Summers, and Rev. Fred Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Because it was her favorite color, the family requests that friends and family wear pink in honor of her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 2, from 4-8 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel.

Her body will lie in state at the church from 10–11 a.m. on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 7815 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
