The Band Perry
Friends of the Festival announced today that The Band Perry will headline the Coca-Cola stage on Wednesday, June 13. The Band Perry was nominated for a Grammy in 2010 and just received another nomination for 2011. They also won ACM and CMA awards in both 2010 and 2011. Their first album was certified Platinum in sales on November 29, 2011. Their single, “All Your Life, was just certified Gold two weeks ago in the digital category. If I Die Young was certified a 3X platinum record, as well.
Headlining the Coca-Cola stage on Sunday, June 10 is the Happy Together Tour, featuring members of the Turtles, Monkees, Buckinghams, Gary Puckett and other stars from the sixties and seventies. Gary Puckett and the Union Gap had 5 top ten singles, including Lady Willpower, Young Girl, Over You, This Girl is a Woman Now, and Woman Woman. The Monkees had hits totaling 65 million in sales, including Daydream Believer, Last Train to Clarksville, and I’m a Believer.
The Turtles, featuring Flo and Eddie, had several hits, including Happy Together and It Ain’t Me Babe.
Get The Led Out is a group of professional musicians who are passionate about their love of the music of Led Zeppelin. It's been their mission to bring the studio recordings of "the mighty Zep" to life on the big concert stage. This is not an impersonator act but rather a group of musicians who were fans first, striving to do justice to one of the greatest bands in rock history! Look for get The Led out on Fireworks night on the Bud Light Stage.
The Unum Stage will feature the Thunder and Fire Tour of Carmine and Vinnie Appice, joining with Hands without Shadows Michaelangelo. Their appearance is scheduled for Friday, June 15.
