Airnet's CEO And COO Win Top 50 Entrepreneur Awards

At a reception held in Brentwood, Tn., Business Leader recognized both Jeff Averbeck and Scott Rix of Airnet Group, from a group of 3500 sponsored applicants, as 2012 Tennessee TOP 50 Entrepreneurs.    

Mr. Averbeck is the CEO and president of Airnet Group, Inc. having founded the company in 2002 with a dream and desire to make a difference through technology. He is commended for his exceptional leadership, entrepreneurialism and visionary skills building one of the regions most successful technology companies.   

“Having worked with Jeff for well over 10 years, he has proven to be a wonderful boss, colleague and friend.  I cannot imagine working anywhere else,” said Mike Wade.   

Scott Rix is the company COO, having joined the company five years ago infusing the needed drive, passion and structure required to grow while retaining the entrepreneurial nature of the company.

EPB is receiving reports that some customers are receiving robo calls demanding immediate payment for their electric/fiber bills to avoid disconnection. Many of these calls have an (888) area code. EPB officials warn the public to disregard. Real EPB calls have a (423) area code, and it never requests payment in the message but simply ask customers to call for more information.
