Langford, Clyde "Huff" (Summerville)

Clyde “Huff” Langford, 84, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at his residence. 

Mr. Langford was born September 3, 1927, in Lawley, Ala., the son of the late James Monroe and Emma Delphia Barnette Langford. He was retired from the U.S. Army, after 20 years, he served in Vietnam from 1971 to 1972. 

Mr. Langford was preced in death by brothers, Clarence, Arvill, Clieland, Clell and Carson Langford, sisters, Wenona Bebo, Louvella Minor. 

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Langford, children, Ronald Dean Langford, Rodney Clyde Langford, Jr., Debra Langford Love, Kimberly and Charles Westmoreland, sister, Ima Fae Hick, grandchildren, Lakeisha and Joshua Swinford, Kristie, Kassie and Kallie Love, Kara and Erin Howard, Joshua and Suzy Westmoreland, Jennifer Westmoreland, great-grandchildren, Brandon and Catilyn Swinfford, Brooklyn Williams, Ansley and Joshua Kyle Westmoreland, sisters-in-law, Becky Langford, and Eskridge Langford. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. CST on Friday, April 13,  at the Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Curtis Fountain officiating with interment in the church cemetery with full military rites. 

Mr. Langford will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
