Jason Eugene Troxell
Jason Eugene Troxell was arrested after he was found with 19 $100 bills on him shortly after a burglary in which $5,000 in hundred dollar bills was taken.
Troxell, 30, of 900 Mountain Creek Road, is charged with aggravated burglary.
Rory Horn said someone broke into his apartment at 4126 Mountain Creek Road and stole his safe containing the $5,000, men's jewelry and a Glock pistol.
He said a witness told him that around midnight he heard a loud noise and saw Troxell leave his (Horn's) apartment and direct a truck to pull up to the rear of the unit.
Police said Troxell is unemployed and he gave different stories on how he got the money.
He did admit to being in the parking lot around the time of the burglary.
Troxell has an extensive record of burglary and theft charges.
He was given a four-year prison sentence in 2008 after pleading guilty to burglary and theft.
