Pauline Hampl, 89, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Monday, February 4, 2013 at a local health care facility.

She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and retired from Walmart as a greeter.  She enjoyed gardening, making crafts and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hampl, sons, George Hampl, Jr. and James Hampl and parents, Ed and Ada Strasser.

Survivors include her daughter, Theresa (Kenneth) Heet, grandson, Michael (Lila) Heet, granddaughters, Mary (Todd) Franklin, Kim (Shane) Catlette and Tracey (Dreama Taylor) Heet and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at the Mount Olivet Cemetery on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. with Father Liam Coyne officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 12-1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
