Frankie Gilbert, 70, of LaFayette, GA, died Monday, August 26, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Adella York Gilbert; and sisters, Mary Watson and Sue McGuire.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim and husband John Erickson, of LaFayette; son, Frank “Sandy” Gilbert, of Rosswell, GA; sister, Robbie and husband Tommy Hise, of Chickamauga; brothers, Tonie and wife Rusalie Gilbert, of Navarre, FL and Ricky Gilbert, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Andrea Duncan, Anthony Brown and Jonathan Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Isabella Duncan, Emma Grace Duncan and Chelsea Gilbert; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be Sunday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m. from the Wallis Memorial Chapel.
The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
