Michael Anthony McCullough has been sentenced to serve four years and three months in federal prison.

McCullough, who earlier pleaded guilty on a drug and a weapons charge, appeared before Judge Sandy Mattice.

Chattanooga Police arrested McCullough on June 19, 2012, on an outstanding state warrant after receiving word that he was residing at Tiara Johnson's apartment.

Police said there was a strong odor of marijuana in the unit. In the upstairs bedroom, officers found a 9mm semi-automatic pistol under Ms. Johnson's bed with several rounds of ammunition on a night stand.

McCullough was convicted of aggravated assault in 2006.
