Nellie Stanley, 88, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, October 3, 2014.
Nellie was of the Church of Christ faith. She was retired from K-Mart in Hixson with 15 years of service. The love of her life was her grandson, Drew, and she enjoyed working in her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alsey D. Stanley; parents, Charles and Dora Dagnan and brother, Charles Dagnan.
Survivors are her daughter, Deborah (David) Howe, East Brainerd; son, Benny A. Stanley, Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Christine Dagnan; grandson, Drew Howe, Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Minister Paul Lynch officiating.
