Man Shot In Drive By Incident Tuesday Night On Maple Hills Way

A man was shot on Tuesday in what he said was a drive by incident.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a call of a person shot at 2013 Maple Hills Way. 

Prior to officers arriving, dispatch received a call of a shooting victim who arrived at Erlanger Hospital.  Investigators discovered that Steven Davis, 39, was reportedly driving down Maple Hills Way when someone opened fire from another vehicle. 

Mr. Davis said he drove to Erlanger when he realized he had been shot. He suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his left hip.
