Louise Rogers
Louise Chapman Rogers, longtime resident and businesswoman of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, August 7, 2014, in her home at the age of 95.
She was born in Petersburg, Tn., and came to Chattanooga to attend Edmondson Business College. Louise met her husband of 66 years, Ralph T. Rogers (deceased), married and started their family. She and her husband owned and operated Rogers Super Market on Main Street for many years. They raised two children, William Thomas (deceased) and Anita (Gary) Adkins, now of Daytona Beach, Fl. She was a long-time member of Woodland Park Baptist Church.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Gary II and Adam Adkins, Amy (LTC Jason) Miller; Bill (Kristin) Rogers and Kathy (Richard) Spurling; six great-grandchildren, Amber, Sarah, and James Miller; Madison, Grace and Tom Spurling; two loving nieces, Julia Parker and Pat Bowden and many other caring relatives and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
