Billy Ray Harbison, 81, died on October 13, 2015.

He was a native of Delano, Tn., but had lived in Chattanooga most of his life. He retired from Combustion after 38 years and was a member of Harrison Masonic Lodge #114, Scottish Rites, and Alhambra Shrine. He was a member of Bayside Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Alva Burnette Harbison; brothers, Avery and Kenneth Harbison; sister, Maxine Nichols.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Harbison of Harrison; sons, Tom (Peggy) Harbison and Jeff (Rhonda) Harbison, both of East Ridge; grandchildren, Mat (Katie), Jennifer (Chris), Lindsey, and Ashley; great grandchildren, Landon, Jacob, Josh, Laurel, Meghan, Nora Ann, Nolan, and Sonja; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Lakewood Memory Gardens South with Grady Cooper officiating.
