John Hubert Williams, 90, born on Nov. 13, 1924, in Dardanelle, Arkansas, died on February 10, 2015, in Fishers, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Clara Mae Williams, of Blytheville, Ar.; his daughters, Joan Wagner, Johnnie Zollinger, Phyllis Wolfe; son, Shawn Williams; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; his brother, Tony Clinton Williams.
John served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he worked as a radio operator. He later returned to school and became a nurse anesthetist.
A service to honor his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, in the Valley View chapel with David Olson officiating. Interment will be in Collegedale Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. before the service on Sunday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
