Police Investigating Shots Fired At Vehicles In Soddy Daisy

  • Thursday, March 12, 2015

Soddy Daisy Police are investigating shots fired at vehicles on Wednesday night.

Lt. Mike Sneed said a caller in the 100 block of Psati Terrace reported hearing a shot that struck his vehicle. The driver stopped at the Kangaroo station and found a dent in the vehicle, then called police.

Soddy Daisy Police searched the area, but did not find anyone with a gun.

Miranda Barnes said in a Facebook posting that Wednesday night her husband was getting off Hixson Pike at the exit headed toward Soddy Lake.

She said, "Someone shot his car and another gentleman behind him too. It hit our car just inches away from where our kids often are. I will give a cash reward to anyone that leads me to this punk.

"This idiot could have killed my husband or one of our kids. What if it had been one of your kids they shot at?

"Let social media work and help us find this loser."
