Frances Alberta Scheffler Sieg, 89, was born November 9, 1925, and died April 25, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Fannie Scheffler, husband, Leonard J. Sieg and sister, Clotile S. Hungate.
She is survived by her sister, Martha S. Drake, two sons and their wives, Phil and Tina Sieg of Knoxville, David and Mary Sieg of Cincinnati; two nieces, Marty Brown and Marilyn Wyeth, three grandsons, Phil Sieg, Kyle Sieg and Kevin Sieg, and one great-grandaughter, Sophie Sieg.
Visitation will be held at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel, 404 S. Moore Road, on Friday, May 1, from 10 a.m. until noon. Graveside services and interment will be at Chattanooga Memorial Cemetery at 2 p.m. that afternoon.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Tennessee Baptist Children's Home.
