Marty Vincent Newberry, 61, of Etowah, Tennessee, died on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his residence.
The son of the late Mark and Wilma Webb Newberry, he was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County and attended New Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his siblings, Cecelia Susan Newberry Moffat and husband Charles of Etowah, Michael Newberry and wife Nancy of Etowah and Cynthia Newberry Aldridge of Decatur; nieces, Holly Carolee Sewell of Etowah and Sarah Price of Decatur; great-nephews, Charles Christian Sewell of Etowah, Joshua Price of Decatur and Jacob Price of Decatur; great-niece, Jade Price of Decatur; and a host of other relatives and family friends.
The family will like to extend a special appreciation to Marty’s sister-in-law, Nancy, for her devoted and compassionate care.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday morning, June 16, at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Whiting Delk officiating.
Serenity Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
