Authorities are suspecting foul play or abduction in the disappearance of Cleveland, Tn., teen Joe Keller in Colorado, according to a Facebook page set up by family and friends.

A search has been underway in Conejos Canyon since he was reported missing last Thursday.

The Facebook page says search teams "have thoroughly combed the area and have turned up no clues."

The page says, "Given the time since Joe's disappearance, this could mean that he is a few miles away or a few hundred miles away.

Please continue to spread the word so that people everywhere are aware and continuing to be on the lookout for anything that would assist in finding him."

The Cleveland State student and swim coach had just turned 19.

EMS authorities said the teen arrived in the area Thursday morning with two friends. He has not been seen since he went jogging a couple of miles west of Horca, which is 22 miles west of the town of Antonito, around 4:30 Thursday afternoon.

A friend who was with him is said to have sprinted ahead of him, then later was not able to find him.

He is described as 5’7” tall, 160 pounds, with blond spiked hair and in good physical condition. He was wearing only red reflective shorts and blue running shoes with orange trim. He has an African, or British sounding accent.  He was not carrying any food or water.

He was on a cross-country trip with the two friends.
