Frances Jeanette Brackett Thurston, 86, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, September 26, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lark and Anna Mae Brackett; husband, Phineas Page Thurston, Jr., and her son, Ronald J. Dobbins.
She is survived by her daughters, Roberta Dobbins, Woodland Hills, Ca., and Nancy (Kenneth) Thomas, Rock Spring, Ga.; grandchildren, Brenda Thomas, Waynesville, NC, and William (Amanda) Thomas, Fort Oglethorpe; two great-grandchildren and several cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 11:30 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Denny Patrick officiating.
Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
