Cody Seeger
Cody Earl Seegar “CoCo”, 28, of Trion, Georgia, died on Friday, November 11, 2016.
Mr. Seegar was born December 21, 1987, in Troup County, Ga., son of Wallace Earl Seegar and Christine Brown Shaw. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was employed as a sheet metal mechanic with Local # 85 and painter with ProCoat Painting.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margie Whitley; and grandfathers, Roger Whitley and Leo Seegar.
Mr. Seegar is survived by his wife, Samantha Seegar; children, Levi Earl Seegar and Scarlet Grace Seegar; father, Wallace Earl Seegar; mother and step-father, Christine and Anthony Tracy Shaw; sister and brother-in-law, Amber and Damion Moore; and special uncles, Sammy Brown, James Brown, Nick Seegar, and Jessie Seegar.
Funeral services for Mr. Seegar will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Pace officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Holman, Brandon Cochran, Miguel “Bilo” Diaz, Brandon Barnett, Carlos Vicenta, Leo Seegar, and Damion Moore.
Mr. Seegar will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17.
