Thomas Laue
Thomas Frederick Laue, 82, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, and is now in the presence of Jesus, his Lord and Savior.
A native of Middletown, New York he had lived in the Ringgold area for the past ten years, and was formerly of Sebring, Fl. Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he retired after 20 years of service during which time he served during the Korean War. He was a former employee of Reynold’s Metal where he worked for 20 years. He attended First Alliance Church in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Arnott Laue; parents, Fredrick George and Elizabeth Brown Laue; and brother, Wayne Laue.
He is survived by three children, Keith E. (Cindy) Laue of Greer, S.C., Karl O. (Laurie Ann) Laue of Ringgold, GA., and Vikki L. (John) Paxton of Bloomingburg, N.Y.; three sisters, Irene Wood of Bradington, FL., Jeanette Cleeton of Ohio, and Sandy (Brian) Lowder of Cookeville, TN.; seven grandchildren, Karl William Laue, Kyle Laue, Kendal Laue, Keaton Laue, Kameron Laue, John Thomas Paxton III, and Savanna Paxton; two great granddaughters, Reese and Kinsley Laue, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lee Peters officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to First Alliance Church or to Hospice of Chattanooga.
