Sarah Adair Edwards, 85, of the Dawnville Community in Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Quinton Memorial Health Care.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B.F. Edwards; son, Steve Edwards; parents, Mark and Claudie Adair; and two brothers, Charles and Mark Adair, Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Charles Gray of Dalton and Brenda and Terry Chapman of Chatsworth; one sister, Clara Thomas of Dalton; three grandchildren, Aaron and Ginger Gray, Robin and Josh Carver and Jeffrey Gray; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Delashmitt officiating. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 5-8 p.m.
