Cecile Lowe
Cecile Smith Rouse Lowe, 78, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, February 20, 2016, surrounded by her two daughters.
Mrs. Lowe was in love with her job at Fillauer, Inc. for 33 years and retired at the age of 76. She attended Green Pond Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tex Rouse; two sons, Andy and Mark Rouse; parents, Wayne and Lois Smith and two brothers, Paul and Hiley Smith, two sisters, Mary Ellen Holland & Alene Thompson.
Nana loved her family more than anything. She had a way of making everyone feel special, especially her children and grandchildren. She lived her life to the fullest. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby C. Lowe; two daughters, Nancy Hale, Chattanooga; son-in-law, Jeff Hale; Janet (Delen) Wright, Soddy Daisy; three step-children, Mark, Michael and Marty Lowe and families; brother, Jennings (Betty) Smith, Spring City; three sisters, Anna Laura (Mike) Brady, Marietta, GA; Wilma Tallent, Knoxville; Helen Kincannon, Spring City; grandson, Justin, Nathan (Courtney) Rouse; Greg (Gretta) and Andy Wright; granddaughters, Kayleigh Reeves, Jena Hale, Ginger Pellechia, Maegan Rouse and Jennifer (David) Callaway; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special buddy, Cole Jolley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21, in the funeral home chapel wit Reverend Wilburn Hardeman officiating. Interment will be in Spring City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at the funeral home.
