UTC And The Downtown Chambers Host A Mock Debate For The POLS 3330 Class

UTC’s POLS 3330 class is hosting a Mock Debate sponsored by the Downtown Chamber. 

The debate will take place Thursday at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in the Derthick Lecture Hall room 101 at 6:30 p.m. 

Featured in this Mock Debate are candidates Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, and Rand Paul.

Richard Brown is bringing the welcome from the university and Michelle Deardorff (Political Science and Public Service Department chair) will give a brief introduction and will provide closing remarks. Moderators will be Nicole Brown, Joey Greer, and Peter Linderman. 

The pre-reception will be in the University Center Chattanooga room A-B at 5:30 p.m.

"The students in POLS 3330 have been working all semester to give and entertaining and educational Mock Debate to the people of Chattanooga," officials said.
