Myrtle Bowman Holloway, 92, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at home with her family.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Church. She loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Hubert Holloway; daughter, Arlene Kilgore; son, David Holloway; parents, John and Millie Bowman; three brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by daughters, Libby (Larry) Sissom and Connie Rains (Butch Andregg); son-in-law, Terry Kilgore; granchildren, Lebron Kilgore, Heather (Justin) Harvey, Jeremy (Karen) Rains, Josh (Laura) Kilgore, Jessica Mabe, Shelley (Stacey) Beason and Danny Mabe; great-grandchildren, Alex & Keith Kilgore, Luke, Ella Grace & Brody Harvey, Katie, Gracie, & Ashlyn Rains, Jacob & Jace Kilgore, Mason & Tucker Mabe, Addison, Talan, & Colin Beason; brother, Dick Bowman; sisters-in-law, Naomi Holloway & Annie Ruth Holloway; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Carol Michaels & Kathy Lofty.
Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, May 16 and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at Mt. Calvary Church with Reverend Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Pickett Cemetery.
