Bob Harbert
Robert Eugene Harbert, 61, of Rossville departed this life on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Harbert worked for Covenant College for over 35 years as an accountant. Robert was a resident of the area for over 35 years and attended the Saint Elmo Presbyterian church where he served as an elder for over 30 years. Robert loved his family and extended church family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, he was a generous, compassionate and very selfless man always putting other’s needs before his own.
Mr. Harbert was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lucy Harbert.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Joni Harbert; children, Allison (Philip) Smith and Ashley (Reuben) Lesondak; siblings, Michael (Simone) Harbert and Sherri (Larry ) Kramer; grandchildren, Levi Smith, Caleb Smith, Myra Lesondak and Paige Lesondak as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, at the Saint Elmo Presbyterian Church at 4400 Saint Elmo Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37409.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the service.
