Glenn Bailey
Glen T. Bailey, Mr. “T”, died on November 13, 2017.
Glen was employed by the City of Chattanooga and self-employed for 15 years at Bailey’s Tire where he serviced many of the community tire needs. He was affectionately known as Mr. “T” in the community.
He is survived by his sisters, Maggie Bailey, Mary Bailey, Martha Harris and Will R (Carol) Bailey; sisters-in-law, Alice Bailey, Pearl Bailey all of Lynchburg, Tn., Maria Bailey, Jean McIntire and Catherine Bailey, all of Chattanooga, special and devoted caregiver sister, Mary, sons, Glen T. Bailey Jr., Ernest Gilbert, Eric Gilbert and Jeffery Gilbert, all of Chattanooga, daughters, Carol Pilcher and Weinshana Bailey, all of Chattanooga, Mildred Taylor, Pamela Stearns and Wanda Taylor, 29 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
