A couple was arrested trying to load $4,789 in stolen items behind the Home Depot near Hamilton Place. Charged was Chad Mendes, 28, and Kimkeisha Jackson, 24. Police said Mendes punched a loss prevention officer, then repeatedly fought with police who quickly arrived on the scene.
